Our school motto is Aspire, Aim, Achieve and a key part of this is inspiring children and giving them opportunities to carve out a positive, successful future for themselves. 

Every class in school takes part in careers activities throughout the year, with our older children taking trips to places of work, colleges and universities. 

These trips always spark such great conversations about the kinds of things children want for their own lives and the kinds of jobs their family have. 

This term, Year 3 have visited Yorkshire Building Society, Year 2 have had a visit from an author who writes books about the construction industry, Year 5 have visited Leeds City College, Year 4 have visited Leeds College of Building and Year 6 children attended the Youth Summit at Leeds Civic Hall. 

The children have gained such a wealth of knowledge and inspiration from these events.
