We hosted our first Beckfield Book Bonanza this week!

On Monday, Mrs Moir delivered special packages to every classroom. Inside, was a huge hardback copy of ‘Tell me a dragon’ by Jackie Morris. 

During the week, children read the book a number of times and explored the images in it, which are absolutely beautiful and were illustrated by the author. 

The book is highly regarded as a must-read for children and it was a delight to share it with every child. 

At the end of the week, we hosted an exhibition, when we invited parents and carers into school to have a look at the amazing displays that children had put together. There was wonderful artwork, poetry, letter writing, models and a burst of colourful dragons in our school hall. It was an incredible event and children loved showing off their work to their adults.
